Please join me and a lineup of award-winning poets at the book launch for the 2021 issue of Nassau County Poet Laureate Review, Vol. IX, an anthology which includes my poem, “Canaan, NY, Farmhouse, 5 PM.” I will be reading my work, which received an Honorable Mention award, and is included in the anthology.
Copies of the anthology can be ordered through the Nassau County Poet Laureate Society.

Interested in learning about the publishing process or how to be a better writer? Please join me on Sunday, April 15, 2018 at the International Women’s Writing Guild’s Spring Big Apple 2018: Women, Creativity & Craft: Write, Pitch, Publish! It’s an all-day event at the beautiful Poet’s House in NYC. There will be workshops, agents ready to hear your pitch, and an open mic reading.
I’m honored to be on the new author panel with IWWG member friends, Cathleen O’Connor, Julie Maloney, Lisa Irish, Kelly Du Mar, and Adrene Bonner with moderator Paula Scardamalia. We’ll be discussing the publishing of books on flash fiction, memoir, nonfiction, and novels. And, I’ll be sharing about my memoir, Bankruptcy: A Love Story, published by Heliotrope Books, in 2017. I’ll be signing books too.
Looking for more about women and writing? Check out the International Women’s Writing Guild, of which I’ve been a member for over 10 years. If you can’t make it this Sunday, consider the Annual Conference at Muhlenberg College July 6-13, 2018.
